So you want to play at LIVE at Squamish but for whatever reason someone else went and got booked instead of you.

Well we at LIVE at Squamish hate to see you looking so sad and so we devised this little competition to make your dreams come true. Now turn that frown upside down, dry your eyes and read on.

We're offering one band the opportunity to play the festival on August 20th or August 21st with all the usual perks that come with playing a festival like ours - rider, dressing room, backstage massages and our now-famous backstage green room. Plus we'll throw in $250 to cover fuel and you'll be able to stay in our artists camp ground.

Here's what you need to do, upload a video, MP3, MP4 or photo and bio and whatever you think will help you win and face the public vote to get into our Top 5, out of whom our panel of experts will decide who gets to play the gig.

Important Dates:
Submissions accepted from Monday April 5th until April 22nd
Voting Open: April 26th
Voting Closed: May 6th
Winner Announced: May 9th

All entrants must be available to play on Saturday August 20 or Sunday August 21 2011. If contracted, performers will be required to have material to fill a 30 minute playing slot. There is no cash equivalent to the major prize. The $250 will be paid to performers after they have performed at the festival as per standard live music payment schedules. Judges decision is final.
