The Stone Pines are a five person band based out of Vancouver B.C. Josh Larsson ( lead singer), Ryan Krumins (lead guitar), and Corey Fenton (rhythm guitar) have a longstanding history playing music together, and were excited to reform the band after a long hiatus from their previous reggae-rock band, Thornbird. Soon joined by Bass prodigy Clark Buchanan and "Slick" Tim Watson (James Byrnes, Sam Roberts) on drums, The Stone Pines have been playing the Vancouver scene for about a year and are tenacious about Creating a new brand of soulful classic rock and blues with a wide range of sound and energy.
The band has been extremely busy building new songs for a full album to follow up on their 2010 self titled EP.

We're a new Vancouver rock band, and it is our collective dream to
play a festival such as this one.
we play an extremely tight set of energetic, catchy, intelligently written rock music
and we feel like we would fit into this lineup.
thats why we chose this video, taken by one of our fans recently at the forum.
were almost done recording our new single with Eric Mosher ( AC/DC, Franz Ferdinand)
but unfortunately it will not be finished for another week.
